Accessibility statement

Europlabs is committed to making this website accessible. This statement sets out our conformance status, how we test, and what to do if you meet a barrier. We audit other people's services for a living; holding ourselves to the same standard is the minimum.

Conformance status

This website is designed and built to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA. We assess it as fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA, meaning the content fully conforms to the accessibility standard without any exceptions that we are aware of.

Where we become aware of a failure, we will say so here honestly and give a remediation date, rather than quietly maintaining a claim we cannot support.

Measures we take

  • Semantic HTML throughout, with landmarks, correct heading hierarchy and no div-based interactive controls.
  • Full keyboard operability, including a skip link, visible focus indicators meeting 3:1 contrast, and a mobile navigation that can be opened, traversed and dismissed with Escape.
  • Contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and UI components, verified in both light and dark colour schemes.
  • Reflow without loss of content or horizontal scrolling down to 320 CSS pixels and at 400% zoom. Wide tables scroll within their own container rather than forcing the page sideways.
  • Respect for user preferences — prefers-reduced-motion disables transitions and smooth scrolling; prefers-color-scheme selects the light or dark palette.
  • Progressive enhancement — all content and navigation work with JavaScript disabled.
  • Text alternatives for all non-decorative images; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Form labels that are real <label> elements, never placeholder text, with clearly marked required fields.
  • No cookie banner, because the site sets no cookies — removing the most common accessibility barrier on the modern web entirely.

How we tested

This site was self-assessed by our own audit team using the same method we apply to client engagements: automated scanning of every template, followed by manual testing with keyboard only, NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, 400% browser zoom, 320px viewport width, and forced-colours mode.

Last assessed: 1 September 2026. We reassess after any significant change to the site, and at minimum annually.

Technical specification

Accessibility of this website relies on HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It is built to work with current versions of major browsers and with assistive technologies including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack. JavaScript is used only for progressive enhancement; nothing on the site requires it.
