Cookie policy

Last updated:

This website does not set cookies, does not load third-party scripts and does not track you. This page explains exactly what that means and what would change if it ever stopped being true.

1. What this site stores

Nothing. Europlabs's website sets no cookies, writes nothing to localStorage or sessionStorage, and loads no third-party resources — no analytics, no advertising pixels, no embedded fonts, no maps, no chat widget, no social embeds, no content delivery network.

Every stylesheet, script and image on this site is served from our own domain. That is why you have not been asked to consent to anything: there is nothing to consent to. Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive requires consent before storing or accessing information on your device, and we do neither.

2. Server logs

Our host records standard web server logs: IP address, user agent, requested URL, response code and timestamp. These are not cookies and are not used to track you across sites. They exist to keep the site running and secure, are retained for a maximum of 30 days, and are then deleted. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in operating a secure and available website. See the privacy policy for detail.

3. What your browser does anyway

Your browser may cache our stylesheet and images so pages load faster on return visits. That is normal browser behaviour under your control, not something we set or can read. Clearing your browser cache removes it.

4. How to verify this yourself

You do not have to take our word for it, and we would rather you did not:

  1. Open your browser's developer tools and switch to the Network tab.
  2. Reload this page.
  3. Check that every request goes to our own domain and no other.
  4. Open the Application or Storage tab and confirm no cookies or storage entries exist for this site.

This is exactly the check we run for clients in a cookie and consent review, and we think it is fair to hold ourselves to it.

5. If this changes

If we ever add analytics or any third-party component that stores or reads information on your device, we will implement a compliant consent mechanism before deploying it, update this page, and change the date at the top. Any such mechanism will offer refusal as easily as acceptance, with no pre-ticked boxes, and will be operable by keyboard and screen reader — which is the standard we apply when auditing anyone else.
